The objectives of the ENIGMA Lifespan working group include:

• (1) Define lifespan trajectories in brain morphology and organization and their variation in healthy individuals

• (2) Derive neuroimaging measures that can be informative at the level of the individual (reference curves, age-related rate of change)

• (3) Delineate the functional correlates of normal variation in brain morphology and organization (cognition, personality)

• (4) Determine genetic and environmental effects on lifetime trajectories in brain morphology and organization

PUBLICATIONS:

• (1) Subcortical volumes across the lifespan: Data from 18,605 healthy individuals aged 3–90 years

• (2) Cortical thickness across the lifespan: Data from 17,075 healthy individuals aged 3–90 yearsds

• (3) Greater male than female variability in regional brain structure across the lifespan
